Assassin's Shroud (At-Will / Free / Close Burst 10 ✦ Shadow)
Target: One enemy in burst Melinoe can see.
Effect: Melinoe places a shroud on the target, up to a maximum of four shrouds. The shrouds last until the end of the encounter or until Melinoe uses this power on a different target. Before making an attack roll against the target, Melinoe can declare to invoke all the shrouds on the target. If the shrouds are invoked, the attack deals an additional d6 damage for each shroud, minus one d6 if the attack missed, and all the shrouds vanish from the target. The shrouds never gain any additional bonus to their damage rolls.
Shadow Step (At-Will / Move / Personal ✦ Shadow, Teleportation)
Requirement: Melinoe must be adjacent to a creature.
Effect: Melinoe can teleport 3 squares adjacent to a different creature.
Shadow Storm (At-Will / Standard / Melee weapon ✦ Shadow, Weapon)

Attack: +7 vs. AC
Hit: 1d8+4 damage, +1 damage for each creature adjacent to the target, +3 damage if none of Melinoe's enemies are adjacent to the target.
Executioner's Noose (At-Will / Standard / Ranged 5 ✦ Force, Implement, Shadow)
Target: One creature
Attack: +4 vs. Fort
Hit: 1d6+4 force damage, +3 damage if none of Melinoe's enemies are adjacent to the target. The target is pulled two squares and slowed until the end of Melinoe's next turn.
Shadow Jaunt (Encounter / Move / Personal ✦ Teleportation)
Effect: Melinoe teleports 3 squares and becomes insubstantial until the start of her next turn.
Shade Form (Encounter / Minor / Personal ✦ Shadow)
Effect: Melinoe assumes a shadowy form that lasts until the end of next turn or until she makes an attack roll. While in this form, she is insubstantial and vulnerable 5 radiant. In addition, she can make stealth checks to become hidden if she has cover or concealment, and she can use cover granted by her allies to both hide and remain hidden.

Hit: 2d8+4 psychic damage, +3 damage if none of Melinoe's enemies are adjacent to the target. Until the end of her next turn, Melinoe gains CA and a +3 power bonus to damage rolls against the target.

Effect: Until the end of the encounter, whenever Melinoe uses Assassin's Shroud against the target, she can subject it to two shrouds instead of 1.

  • Melinoe is completely devoted to Peresefa, and to the rest of the Twelve by association (with one exception). She is quick to further her Lady's interests and quell possible threats.
  • Except for when it would conflict with her religious beliefs, Melinoe is more than willing to help those who cannot help themselves.
  • Normally polite, Melinoe is very cold towards followers of Lauto, or as she calls them, "Lauto's hounds".

Kicker Edit

  • A shadowy agent in the service of Peresefa, Melinoe hurries the deserving into the arms of her Lady.
